What is Arsenal FC?

Arsenal FC (Football Club) is the newest premier youth soccer club in Minnesota.  Arsenal FC was founded to provide players an affordable opportunity to play soccer at the level they want to play, as a Premier player or as a C3 player and everything in between.  There are many opportunities to play with Arsenal FC.

How many teams do you have?

In 2008, we had 10 teams.  We have been contacted by many people who are interested in our club concept and expect to have many more in 2009.  Tryouts dates have been set for August 3rd, 2008 for several teams we need to fill.

How much does it cost to play at Arsenal FC?

For the third year straight, the club fee to play at Arsenal FC is $125.  This fee includes payment of referee fees for the team's home league games.  This fee also includes the team's entry fee into Districts and into the State Tournament - should you qualify.  Other clubs in the area charge anywhere from $180 to upwards of $300 to play traveling soccer.  We are committed to keeping our fees low and affordable to encourage participation in the sport.

Where do Arsenal FC teams play their games?

We have the exclusive use of the Blaine High School fields.  We have also used fields in Brooklyn Park, at the Blaine Soccer Complex and NSC.

Where do you expect your new teams to come from?

Every player in Minnesota is a free agent starting 24 hours after the last game of the MYSA State Tournament and they remain in that status until they sign a registration form and pay part of the club fees.  Having said that, there are many players, coaches and parents who are looking for something different than they currently have.  This is where Arsenal FC comes in.  Our leadership has been around traditional clubs for a long time and have decided to create a club in which players are the focus and where administrators and rules and regulations that cripple teams are way in the background or non-existent.

We are also happy to take complete teams (age U13 and below for 2008 or any team at the C2 or C3 levels) that want to experience Arsenal FC.  No worries, we will not hold tryouts and disband your team!
